·Toxicity: Nitric oxide has strong toxicity and inhibitory effects on the central nervous system. Inhalation can cause dizziness, suffocation, and even coma and death.
·Oxidative: Nitric oxide, as a strong oxidant, may form explosive mixtures when in contact with combustibles such as hydrogen and organic vapors, posing a risk of combustion and explosion when exposed to heat or open flames.
·Instability: Nitric oxide is easily oxidized in the air to produce highly toxic and corrosive nitrogen dioxide, visible as brownish red smoke.
The operation must comply with the following regulations:
1. Storage: Nitric oxide is stored in a cool, well ventilated gas warehouse with a dedicated non combustible material structure. Stay away from sources of fire, heat, and flammable materials. The storage temperature should not exceed 30 ℃. Avoid mixing storage with reducing agents, halogens, etc.

Cut off the gas source, spray water to dilute and dissolve, but do not let water directly enter the steel cylinder.
