Safety instructions and operating standards
1. Preventing tempering: Qualified tempering arresters must be used. If you hear a "hissing" backfire sound during operation, immediately close the acetylene valve and then close the oxygen valve.
2. Keep away from fire and heat sources: Acetylene cylinders must be placed in a ventilated, cool, and dry place, away from open flames, high-temperature equipment, and direct sunlight. The safe distance is not less than 10 meters.
3. Prevent tipping: Acetylene cylinders must be stored and used upright, and secured with iron chains or clamps to prevent tipping.
4. It is strictly prohibited to come into contact with copper and silver: Acetylene can generate explosive compounds with metals such as copper, silver, mercury, etc. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to use copper tools or alloy connecting parts with a copper content exceeding 70%.
5. Leak detection: Before use, use soapy water to check all interfaces for air leaks. It is strictly prohibited to use open flames for leak detection.
